AiR BALL (for Playdate)
A downloadable game
Here is a simple game for the Playdate handheld. Move your paddle with the crank and keep the ball in the air! Chase your high score & try to outlast the inevitable.
If the ball hits the ground, you lose. Every time your paddle hits the ball, you gain one point & the ball speeds up a bit.
Enjoy!
This project was mainly completed as an intro for me to get acquainted with the PlaydateSDK. I have included the source code, upon request, to help others learn as well. This code wasn't intended to be shared when it was written, so if you have any questions at all please feel free to ask in the comments below.

Fun little game. It gets pretty challenging when it speeds up.
My high score on the device for v1.3 is:
50 !
Great job! I just played a few rounds in the simulator, I'll try it out on the Playdate when it arrives.
Do you happen to have the source publicly available for this project?
I'm working on a few small projects as well.
Thanks so much, RUMBLEBOX.
I'm happy to make the source available to help others learn as I did. I've attached the source to this page. It wasn't intended to be shared (so it may not be the most readable to others), so let me know if you have any questions.
Note to all: the information in the pdxinfo file has been removed, so be sure to fill this out if you happen to use this code for another project.
Awesome, I appreciate it!
Again, great job!
